You will be responsible for competitive Business & Market Intelligence at Continental Barum s.r.o, Sales & Marketing organization in Czech republic and Slovakia. You will support our sales team by providing relevant analysis, scenarios, market trends and developments in Czech and Slovak Tire market.

Your Tasks will be:

  • Generating added value from the info captured from the market, provided by Key Account Managers, gathered through internal analysis and reports, surveys prepared by Business Data Analyst
  • Maintaining consistent and structural soft data collection from the market and its intelligent interpretations
  • Tracking the market and industry trends, suggesting actions to achieve strategic targets
  • Providing consolidated market input to the strategic planning
  • Checking the feasibility of scenarios
  • Developing a picture of company's competitiveness
  • Close cooperation with Business Data Analyst and Controlling
  • Close communication with Sales team, other markets and Continental HQ
  • Interface to TOP customers

Job Requirements:

  • studies in the field of Economics, Business Analytics and Informatics, Finance and Controlling or comparable education
  • Good knowledge in the BI environment, the creation, understanding and communication of reports and analysis
  • Experience in tire business desirable, proper knowledge and understanding of Czech and Slovak tire market and understanding the business environment
  • Experience in project and process management
  • MS Office programs and PowerBI
  • Clear and open communication; organizational skills, pro-active and problem-solving oriented approach, Very good presentation skills
  • Self-initiative and enjoy working in a team
  • Very good written and spoken English
